Description of the Foundation module:
This comprehensive 60-hour training with Sabine Winkler and Philipp Sharma contains the fundamental aspects of Yin yoga and mindfulness practice for yoga teachers and / or committed students. Based on the teaching of Paul Grilley (founder of Yin Yoga), you will get to know the fundamental theory and practice of Yin Yoga poses in detail in an intensive week over 7 days. In addition, you will understand how to design a safe and effective practice taking into account the skeletal variations and anatomy of the hip. This training also brings a deep level of mindfulness exercises, meditation, pranayama (breathing exercises) and mental techniques with it and a lot of impulses on how you can incorporate all of this into your yoga lessons.
Furthermore, the unique workshop "Fascia and Yoga" with Dr. Robert Schleip, the leading expert in the field of fascia research included. He offers a colorful mixture of the latest research results as well as numerous practical suggestions for fertilizing one's own yoga practice. In addition, this workshop offers space for an interesting discussion that is inspired by new insights. The various advantages and disadvantages of extremely slow stretches (Yin Yoga), dynamic springs, actively tense postures, changed breathing cycles and the role of inner mindfulness in the execution are discussed. In addition to the perception of one's own body according to its position in space, the perception of physiological body sensations is also addressed.
